Meet the researchers and students driving innovation in responsible GeoAI and geospatial science.
Dr. Bing Zhou is an Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) in the Department of Geography and Sustainability at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He leads the GRIND Lab (Geospatial Responsible AI for Nature-human Dynamics Laboratory).
Dr. Zhou's research develops responsible geospatial AI to understand and mitigate coupled nature-human risks. He designs advanced GeoAI models for disaster detection, forecasting, and impact explanation across space and time.
